MERIT-Smart UnivT allows the user to define the classes for which students can be assigned. The subjects that are offered in each of the branch can be defined with the teaching methodology and faculty can be assigned to the subjects. Teaching methodology essentially comprises of tutorial hours, lab hours and teaching hours. Grade points can be assigned to each of the subjects. |

MERIT-Smart UnivT allows the user to define the internal assessment with a base mark and weight age. A series of internal assessments (or tests) can be attached to a subject, which will determine the way the subject will be handled. The marks obtained by the student for each of the internal assessments can be entered using an optional barcode scanner (which significantly reduces the time) or can be entered directly into the system. |

Once the examination fee is collected from the students, MERIT-Smart UnivT allows the user to define the rooms with capacity and the date and time of exam. Based on the end exam eligibility for any subjects, students can be allotted to the room. Successful room allotment allows the user to generate hall ticket for students with their subjects, photo and date and time of the examination. |
